NY Renews’ primary goal is for New York State to lead the country in the fight for climate justice. The coalition is supported by environmentalists who won the state’s fracking ban, the unions that won the fight for a $15 minimum wage, and the environmental justice advocates who led the 400,000-person People’s Climate March. In total, 97 organizations have joined forces in an unprecedented coalition to pass sweeping policy reforms that would decarbonize New York’s economy in the next 35 years, create thousands of new jobs, reinvest in low-income communities, and aid workers impacted by the transition away from fossil fuels.

From Rochester to Buffalo to Binghamton to NYC, the Upstate/Downstate Housing Alliance is building the power of tenants and homeless New Yorkers to hold Governor Cuomo accountable to the housing crisis in New York State.

New York Caring Majority is a movement of seniors, people with disabilities, family caregivers, domestic workers, and home care providers from all across the state. This alliance is working to ensure home care is affordable and available to all who need it, to create the quality long-term care jobs we need to meet our growing demand, and to defend basic and essential programs such as Medicaid, the Older Americans Act, and the Affordable Care Act.
